Human Trafficking Investigation
Arrests Two
FL NEWS -- A human trafficking investigation conducted in Florida has
resulted in the arrest of two individuals. A fifty-three-year-old mother, Lazara Moreira
Penin, was taken into custody in Bradenton, FL, but later released on a bond. However, her
thirty-one-year-old son, Erisbel Artiles, was arrested at their home on 3135 Village Green
Drive, in Miami and remains incarcerated at the Miami-Dade Corrections Pre-Trial Detention
Center. Both are accused of kidnapping and extortion of a Guatemala man was illegally
smuggled into the United States.
